Originally erected in 1915 as a commercial building in a pre-war style, reflecting early 20th-century downtown Manhattan development patterns. Today the building has been converted to a mixed use residential cooperative while retaining its historic character in the Tribeca neighborhood.

Scope of Project:
The project involved a complete restoration of the facade and the installation of new fiberglass cornice. The scope also included the replacement of deteriorated masonry, cutting and pointing of mortar joints, lintel replacement, repairs to the fire escape and deteriorated stone ornaments.
Our Involvement:
FSI prepared construction documents for the South and East façade restoration, including the design and coordination of a new fiberglass cornice and supporting structure. The firm managed bidding, assisted with contractor selection, and provided construction administration through project completion and final sign-off.
FSI also served as Architect of Record for related restoration work, handling agency filings, permitting, project management, and approvals with city agencies.
