FSI Architecture PC is seeking a well-rounded Entry-Level Architect with 1-3 years office experience with residential, commercial and institutional projects. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with the ability to work both independently as well as constructively and collaboratively within a project team. Excellent project management and communication skills are essential. Strong organizational and technical skills are required, with a willingness to grow in the fields of restoration and preservation.
Candidate MUST have:
Bachelor of Architecture (five year degree) from accredited University.
Strong AutoCAD skills (must be proficient).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, organization, and a cooperative attitude
Knowledge of 3D digital technology programs such as Sketch Up, Revit, and Rhino.
Knowledge in management tools like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint required).
Interest and desire to work with other team members on all phases of a project from pre design through construction administration.
Licensed or IDP candidate strongly preferred.
Keen interest in preservation and restoration or a willingness to learn.
Familiarity with Building Science & Forensics or a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Surveying of Existing Building Conditions.
Preparation of Technical Reports
Preparation of Drawing, Specifications, and Documents for public and private bidding.
Close-up inspections and documentation of existing conditions.
Relationship building and communication directly with clients in support and coordination of all project activities.
Project Management of various project types.

FSI Architecture is always on the look-out for architectural and engineering students willing to learn and grow within the professional field of architecture. Internships are offered during the fall and spring semesters (4-6 months) and in the summer (2-3 months). Internships are paid and college credit is available. All interns must be currently enrolled in an architecture or engineering program. Visas are required for non-US applicants.
